With help and support of our community the Mangohick Volunteer Fire Department is proudly entering it's 19th year of service to the citizens of King William County.

Founded in 1991, by friends and neighbors, MVFD began operating out of the garage of a member. We were able to respond to fire calls in May 1993 with a couple of trucks, minimal equipment and a handful of dedicated members.

Our department relies on public donations and fund-raising to support our services. As our community grows, we would like to ask our community for their financial support. Please take a moment to consider our request and return your tax deductible donation today.

If you are looking for a way to give back to your community, join the fire department or rescue squad. Junior volunteers are offered fully supervised instruction and are a welcomed addition to our department.
